first look

Pleased; I purchased the XS-Plus 2wt-5wt (That I spooled on a Pflueger Medalist) a little over 30 days ago and so far, it has been used on an 8ft' glass 5wt and a 7' carbon 3wt. In both cases, the line excelled my expectations. With both rods being used in calm and moderate wind conditions, along with using wet and dry flies in the 14-18 size range. The casting range, accuracy and adaptability of this line matches that of lines twice this price point.

Thistledown, why??? (Tiny line loops)

Why are the welded loops on the ends of the Thistledown line microscopic?? Would it really matter if you added a couple of mms to it in order to facilitate attaching backing and or leaders? For such a unique product, I don't understand why it needs to to be a PITA to put on?

Lack of response to customer concern

I bought five items from Snowbee USA at the NAFF Sowbug Roundup in Arkansas in March of this year. Total dollars of items just under $400. Four items were available on site, the fifth was not available but was to be shipped. I received confirmation of order via text and possibly shipping notification as well ( texts have been deleted). To date I have tried numerous times to contact Snowbee but have had no reply. No phone number available, no reply to multiple emails and most frustrating of all is the non-responding, no one home Chat tool. Product may be great but good luck if you have a problem. For what it’s worth, my first contact attempt was inadvertently directed to Snowbee UK … they responded if less than two hours1

Looks good so far

Looks like a nice floating line. Have not done anything but load it onto my reel, which went as expected. Someday I will take it out and test it, but seems like a good line for the money
