WARRANTY

All Snowbee products purchased through authorized Snowbee retailers are covered by our 12-month warranty. During this period, should any manufacturing or material fault develop, the item will be replaced or repaired (at our discretion) without question. The Snowbee USA warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, accidental damage, corrosion, general neglect, or any type of damage resulting from using the product. Products warranted must be distributed by Snowbee USA and must provide an acceptable proof of purchase. 

Please note that under Health and Safety regulations, our staff is not permitted to handle dirty or wet items of clothing or footwear, including waders. To avoid disappointment, delays and an additional $40.00 cleaning fee, please ensure that any items returned are in a clean, dry condition.

ORIGINAL PURCHASER LIFETIME GUARANTEE

All Snowbee fly rods purchased through authorized Snowbee retailers are backed by our lifetime warranty, guaranteed to the original purchaser of the fly rod(s). If the rod should break or fail, for whatever reason, a section-replacement fee will be charged for each section to be repaired/replaced. This fee varies from rod model to rod model, and from section to section.

In the event that the fly rod in question is discontinued, Snowbee USA reserves the right to replace the affected model(s) with newer models up to a similar value when applicable and necessary. An option to "trade up" to a rod of higher value is also possible by paying the difference between the two models. Please note that differences in color may occur, and that the difference in price, if any will need to be paid. In all cases, an acceptable proof of purchase must be provided.

REPAIRS

Repairs may be available for reels, lines, waders, apparel, bags & packs, and accessories depending on the severity of the issue. If a product you have purchased has broken and is no longer covered by our warranty, the product is eligible for repairs for a fee.

In the event that your item can no longer be repaired or is discontinued, we may issue you a one-time use discount code to be used on your next purchase. Discontinued items still under warranty must be returned in order to be eligible for a full refund in the form of store credit. In all cases, an acceptable proof of purchase must be provided.

 

FAQs

  • Warranties consist of all manufacturing inconsistencies and defects, while repairs are intended for incidental breakages only.
  • All services are subject to a fee, except for items that are already broken or immediately defective upon arrival.
  • The fee you will be charged depends on a few factors such as rod model or rod section and will be communicated to you after you submit your claim.
  • Once we receive your rod, it will be inspected by our warranty staff who will determine if the damage is incidental or a manufacturer issue, and processed within a 5-7 business days.
  • Please note, you must send your entire fly rod with rod tube in order for us to process any repair or warranty issues.
