A lightweight, slim profile aluminum wading staff for reduced water resistance. The 4-section design locks firmly in place with a sliding collar, so the staff cannot collapse even if the rubber cap is caught between rocks. Remove the "silent wading" rubber cap and a carbide steel tip is exposed for extra traction. This staff comes with an optional screw-on trekking baskets to spread the load in soft sand, mud, or snow. Ergonomic rubber handle for comfort and positive grip, with an adjustable wrist strap and detachable elasticated lanyard. At 15”olded up, the wading staff packs down into a neat neoprene belt holster.

Outstanding Wading Jacket

I bought this review at the Fly Fishing Expo in SLC from the Snowbee booth there. I needed a wading jacket, but had been looking at Simms. Adams-built also has a very nice jacket and was at the Expo. The Snowbee was literally $100 less. So I decided to try it. It's beautiful and warm with lots of pockets. I've already worn it in the rain ... and I stayed warm and cry! :)

Staff is less than ideal for stream use

My old staff , a no name brand, has elastic snap together feature when I shake it. This one takes a little effort. Enough so that I will likely have to leave it extended as I fish, which means another item in the way. Other than that it's well made, good looking, right size and the price was OK. But...my older cheapy one is more functional.
