Re-enforced Stocking Foot Design


Our Stockingfoot model features 4mm, 3-panel neoprene socks using our new cutting design, making them the best fitting and most comfortable socks we have ever worn. In addition to the high-density sole panel, which prevents heel compression leaks, this cutting style tapers the ankles to remove excess material which can otherwise crease up inside your wading boots. The 3-panel design ensures all the seams run around and not under your foot for a more molded fit and added comfort. The integral gravel guards have front lacing hooks and rubberized elastic around the bottom, to prevent them from riding up when walking. This very comfortable model offers the very best value for money of any breathable wader on the market.

Review of STX Waders and Purchase Experience

I got my Prestige STX waders. They do not disappoint and feel great wearing them when I did a test fit. They are dead quiet. The reviews were accurate that I could find. They feel really well built and not heavy.

I now get to retire my leaky waders from a large name company and cut them up into wet wading chaps.

I really appreciate as a veteran they were able to work with me and all my questions to make sure I got a size which worked with my circumstances. I have had other waders that just don't move right or are so baggy they split at the first misstep.

One open question was how to address burrs etc. that one might get out in the field. They have a soft fuzzy material. How does the material behave and the best way to get rid of them so as to not impact the water barrier

II did ask that in the future they if they could make a few enhancements to the product which competitors are doing. They are the reason for the 4 star review.

1) Put a draw string at the top. This just helps to keep things all together and if one fall in the water there will be less water getting in. The channel for the draw string already exists.

2) An internal pocket to contain items such as a phone, documents etc. The existing pockets are very small. This I will miss.

3) The hand pockets for my larger hands would be better if it went all the way through. It would also add to storage place to the front of the vest. All the competitor vests are doing this now. It works better when out in really cold temps.

4) The existing waterproof pockets are very small. there can be a gusset made so angular shaped items got in much easier.

5) Looking at the Loop System which some vendors are going too. This would reduce the need for a vest and is not a showstopper.

Looking forward to their use in a few weeks on a multiday trip.

I am very excited to have the product and being able to use it.

Gr8 Waders!!!

Took my son on a trout fishing trip to Utah. These waders are gr8!!! Light and keep you perfectly dry. Only used for a week now but so far so good.
